SFAI SPECTACLE FORT MASON

Showcasing the opening of their second San Francisco-based campus, SFAI’s goal was to let everyone know “We’re (Also) Over Here Now”. To light up their Opening Gala the goal was to give the freshly painted white space depth and an overall glow while not distracting from the student’s art showcases. However, one does want a hint of color - along with a giant red arrow balloon in front of the building, the upper offices were lined with Chroma-Q Color Force II led battens to shine a rainbow of color as a beacon for the attendees,

An especially important feature of the night was to spotlight the new centerpiece mural by alumna Alicia McCarthy. This grand unveiling was followed by musical act Extra Action Marching Band, a Bay Area marching band with a Cabaret flair, that took over the entire space to dance, sing and play with attendees, and one pretty cool golden retriever.
